The castle you inherited, your new home, is enchanted and alive. Rooms move or vanish. Voices whisper that make you blush and sweat. A wardrobe eternally hunts a sofa through the halls with an axe. Your dog has become-something else entirely. Osric’s right-hand man and the resident swordsman thinks you’re a weakling and a fool. Outside the castle, in a world sealed off by magic from the 20th century, things are even stranger. Thru the forest courses the Wild Hunt. In the rocky hills dwells Volund, a mysterious blacksmith of fantastic skill. In the fields roam the castle horses, willful and sentient. And elsewhere rove creatures of myth and legend, some of whom want your castle...others just want your head. And Osric’s lawyer tells you not to leave the castle grounds for one week...but won’t tell you why. This is the only rule, the one condition for your inheritance.
